MEC is conveniently located within
the Tanggu Marine High-Tech Zone in Tianjin, China. The facility
is about 8km from Tianjin Xinggang Port, 25km from Tianjin Binhai
Airport, and 150km from Beijing International Airport.

MEC has manufactured
large industrial sized parts (largest piece: 33m X 9m X 9m) and
successfully transported these parts via Tianjin Xinggang Port
to many foreign countries.

MEC has built 2 plants on its 35,000
square meters of land. One plant covers a 6,000 square meter area,
including two 100m x 30m spans. Each span has a 32/5 ton overhead
crane. The second plant covers a 3,000 square meter area, including
two 75m x 20m spans. Each span has a 20/5 ton overhead crane. MEC
has an additional 7,500 square meter open-air work area next to
its plants.

MEC has a variety
of special equipment for steel fabrication and machining. For example:
plate-bending machines, vertical lathes, and plate-shearing machines,
etc.

MEC has primarily done business in the following
three fields:
Manufacturing steel structures for environmental equipment.
Manufacturing and assembling electrical furnace converters.
Manufacturing and assembling port crane equipment

Manufacturing and Erecting Port Cranes
Cooperating with its manufacturing partners, such as KONE, KRUUP,
MAN, MHI, KALMAR, FTM, and IMPSA, MEC has manufactured more than
60 units of port gantry cranes, multipurpose cranes, ship-to-shore
container cranes, ship-loaders, ship-unloaders, floating cranes,
rubber tire container cranes, and bulk handling systems, etc.
In this partnership, MEC’s manufacturing partners
provide the design, drawing, electrical systems, mechanical equipments,
and engineering supervision for the product. MEC provides works
such as relative steel material procuring, steel structure fabrication,
parts installation and assembly, final erection, commissioning,
loading, and ocean transportation.

Manufacturing Metallurgy Equipment
MEC has fabricated and manufactured about 50 sets of steel structures
for still mill equipment. Most of these projects were in cooperation
with TTI Group, Italy.

Steel Structure Fabrication and Installation
MEC has fabricated more 5,000 tons of high building architecture
steel structures, bridge steel structures, and port crane repairing
steel structures, etc.
